Checking network…

  1. Phone at work, PC at home: on this PC run npm run share and leave that window open. Then print new QR codes.
  2. The phone can use any network or mobile data. It does not need your home Wi‑Fi.
  3. The home PC must stay on while you inspect. If the PC sleeps or the share window is closed, the QR page will not open.
  4. Keep QR stickers forever: tick Reserve printed QR codes and use a named Cloudflare Tunnel hostname, then print once.

Company settings

Quick Cloudflare links change every time something goes wrong, so old stickers die. To keep the same QR codes: create a named Cloudflare Tunnel (free Cloudflare account), put that hostname in Reserved QR link, tick Reserve, save, then print once. Optional: paste the tunnel token below so npm run share reconnects the same tunnel.

If the mechanic or Detailed Report user forgets their password, set a new one here. They can also change it themselves after they sign in.

Reset one mechanic’s password if they forget it.

Incidents are emailed to [email protected]. Create a Google App Password for that Gmail (Google Account → Security → 2-Step Verification → App passwords), then paste it here.

WhatsApp cannot post into a group by itself. Create a group (for example SPMM Deviations), add everyone who must be alerted, then link it with Green-API: open green-api.com, create an instance, scan the QR with a spare work phone, and add that WhatsApp number to the group. Paste the API URL, instance ID, and token from the console. Save, load groups, pick the group, save again, then send a test.

Print QR stickers

Under every QR you must see a Wi-Fi link such as http://192.168.0.198:3000/v/…. If it says null, do not print it. Close Admin, press Ctrl+F5, open Admin again, then print. The phone must be on the same Wi-Fi. Old stickers that already say null have to be thrown away and replaced.
